Harbour Towne Counseling and Psychiatry, PLLC. offers comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder (OUD), alcohol use disorder (AUD), and other substance-related conditions. Our program is designed to meet individuals where they are and provide personalized care that supports long-term recovery.
We offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) options such as buprenorphine, Suboxone®, Sublocade®, and Vivitrol®, along with other pharmacologic and therapeutic interventions when clinically appropriate. These treatments are proven to reduce cravings, decrease relapse risk, and support stabilization while patients engage in recovery-focused care.
Our substance use treatment program is led by Zachary Whittle, PMHNP-C, FNP-C, an experienced clinician with specialized expertise in Medication-Assisted Treatment prescribing and management. Zachary is highly skilled in the use of buprenorphine-containing medications, including long-acting injectable formulations, for the effective management of opioid use disorder, as well as naltrexone for both opioid and alcohol use disorders. He also provides treatment using other FDA-approved medications, including acamprosate and disulfiram, for alcohol use disorder and additional substance use disorders when indicated.
Treatment plans are individualized and may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, counseling, relapse prevention strategies, and coordination with therapy and community supports. We utilize a nonjudgmental, trauma-informed approach that emphasizes safety, dignity, and collaboration.
At Harbour Towne Counseling and Psychiatry, we are committed to providing accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based care to help individuals achieve stability, improve functioning, and move toward sustained recovery.
